CS - PTS is a comprehensive and highly affordable test series for the preliminary stage of the UPSC Civil Services exam.

The Multiple Choice Questions under this programme are designed in such a way that they resemble the quality and difficulty that is seen in the UPSC Prelims exam. This is of utmost importance because it will help the students to develop a mental make-up and strategy that is required to use the elimination techniques for solving the questions in the real exam.
The students will also periodically get access to articles written by those who are into the services and by those who have consistently done well in the prelims exam. The duration of this course is 4 months. It starts from Feb 3rd 2019 and ends on June 2nd 2019. There is no last date for registration, Students can register any time before the UPSC Prelims exam which will be held on June 2nd, 2019.

The tests can be taken on any device which has an internet connection and a web browser. It can be either mobile phone or tablet or computer. We recommend using a computer for a better experience.
A student can take the test only once with his registered email-id. The test is considered to be taken once the student clicks on the submit button. The student may be permitted to take the test again if the student submits the proof for any technical glitch. It will considered on a case to case basis.
Hitting the peak of your performance during the week of the exam (May 27th to June 2nd 2019) is very important to crack prelims. The schedule has been prepared in such a way that the student is in touch with solving MCQs during the exam week and also have sufficient time to revise before the exam.
The resources mentioned in the plan are primary resources and have been carefully chosen after receiving feedback from many aspirants who have done consistently well in this exam. However, the student is free to follow to any other source for any topic mentioned in the plan, if he/she feels comfortable doing it that way. The detailed list of references will be sent to the registered students once the course begins.
If the student is able to get 70 to 80 questions correctly on a consistent basis, then he is on the correct path. Anything short of 70 questions means more hard-work is required from the student. However, the student should also not get complacement by the consistent high scores in this programme, the real exam is a game of mind and one has to be on his/her toes till the exam is over on June 2nd 2019.
It is advisable to give tests according to the schedule, However students are free to give tests as per their personal schedule. The tests will go live as per the schedule mentioned in the plan, after which the students can take tests any time they would like to.
The explanations for the questions will be given to the students within 7 days after which he/she takes the tests. There will be no discussion after the tests at any point of time because the explanations to the questions will have all the relevant details. This will also save valuable time for the students.
